CSS-3000 SYSTEM

Superior Digitizing Capability

The CSS-3000 system significantly reduces costs and processing time involved with inspecting first article parts. It is particularly effective on parts with complex and/or internal surfaces. Unlike other systems that capture the surface details of a part, this system simultaneously digitizes both the surface and the internal geometry of a part.

Overall, the CSS-3000 offers superior digitizing capability and performance over laser digitizers, touch-probes, X-ray and in-house CAD reproductions for parts with complex internal features. Customers can realize a fast return on their investment using the CSS-3000. The system runs without operator intervention during the digitizing process.

• The system is designed to scan parts that can fit within an envelope of 14 x 16 x 15 inches (over 3000 cubic inches) or 35.5 x 45.5 x 38 cm (over 61300 cubic centimeters).
• The advanced system design increases productivity by allowing multiple parts of the same material to be processed simultaneously.
• Aluminum alloys, plastics, brass, plaster, complex plastics, copper, and zinc can be processed on the system. If your part is machinable and opaque, the CSS-3000 system can capture its geometry.
• Layer thickness ranges from 0.0005 to .010 inches.

All materials contract in heat.

For best results, run the CGI processing systems at the industry metrology environment of 20 deg. C, +/- 1 deg. C.
